10 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR FERTILITY

  1. Eat an organic whole food diet. Start by introducing more and more organic foods until your diet is 90% or more organic. Eat plenty of superfoods, such as flax oil, sprouted seeds and bee pollen.

  2. Take good quality nutritional supplements. If you feel you may have deficiencies then make an appointment with a nutritionist who can help to identify which nutrients are deficient. Often via a hair test analysis.

  3. Drink filtered water or bottled water. Avoid plastic bottles if possible and don’t re-use them for other liquids.

  4. Detox your home! Discard chemical laden beauty and hair care products and replace with natural ones. Use chemical free cleaning products, such as Ecover or Green Care. (Available in most supermarkets).

  5. Reduce stress – try yoga, meditation, relaxation.

  6. Have regular complementary treatments to enhance fertility, such as acupuncture, reflexology, herbal remedies. Support your emotional health too and work towards identifying and clearing any underlying stresses and negative attitudes.

  7. Work towards clearing up underlying health issues, such as IBS, Candida, allergies since these can deplete your levels of minerals and affect fertility.

  8. Get adequate sleep and rest.

  9. Exercise regularly.

  10. Keep a positive outlook.

It is also important to make SPACE in your life for life. Many couples are simply too busy to fit a baby into their lives. If this strikes a note with you, then try slowing down and making space.
