Transformation is a natural process that flows without forcing; as powerful as a hurricane, as gentle as the wings of a butterfly unfolding, and as miraculous as a new life being born.
About our Transformation Detox Retreats
In 2009 we developed our long running holistic Mind / Body detox programme to include two Transformation Detox Retreats; offering a greater understanding of yourself and a deeper personal experience.
The detox regime is the same comprehensive juice fasting programme as on all of our retreats with organic fresh juices, supplements, colon cleansing, yoga and complementary therapies; but the ‘focus’ of the retreat and discussions encourages and supports supreme personal growth. In place of daily talks on nutrition and related topics, throughout the transformation detox retreats we will be running a series of psychodrama workshops every afternoon with Sandra Grieve.
There is YOGA each morning to enhance the detox process on all levels, but especially in the practice of being present while in movement. And last thing in the evening we offer meditation for anyone who wishes to join us.
In place of the individual nutrition consultations which we offer on all our other retreats, clients will be able instead to have an individual session with Sandra (included in the price of the retreat). Any nutritional questions will still be answered throughout the week by the nutritional therapist who will be supporting and guiding you through your detox.
Towards the end of the retreat we include a ‘silent day’ which helps you to go deeper into your process. (You will still be able to talk and laugh! in therapy sessions and the workshops though).

The Detox Team:
The team will be, Yair Sagy, Ziza Fernandes Sagy and Sandra Grieve with either Marianne Callaghan or Midi Fairgrieve. And our lovely juice lady, Elizabeth.
Places are limited to a maximum of 12 clients per retreat.
Sandra will be offering a series of psychodrama workshops in which we will explore our ways of being in the world, with one another and with ourselves. The workshops are physical and emotional rather than mental. One of the things that psychodrama is good at is helping people engage with body and soul rather than their rational being and helping you look inside to find what inner resources you can draw on.
“We each have our own ways of being in the world; patterns of behaviour, patterns of relationships, patterns of beliefs. So, how did these patterns emerge? Are they useful? Do some of them hold us back?"
We will work creatively together and celebrate whatever may emerge. The process is active, energising, healing and often fun!
Sandra Grieve is a Person Centred Therapist, Psychodramatist and Supervisor. She works with both children and adults in groups and individually. She is UKCP registered and an accredited trainer with the British Psychodrama Association. Sandra has attended several detox retreats as a client and has a great understanding of the detox process and the way in which her workshops can enhance your detox experience.
