Will I feel hungry while juice fasting?

Not surprisingly this is one of the most commonly asked questions and it’s also one of the biggest surprises to people that they don’t feel hungry during the detox. Because the fresh juices are flooding your body with so many nutrients you are actually being very well fed nutritionally and so hunger is seldom a problem.

Will I be lacking in nutrients while fasting?

The opposite is true as you will be taking in more nutrients in a day than most people eat on a standard western diet, even in a week! We use 100% organically grown fruit and vegetables for our juices and broth which are made just before you drink them. Along with the nutritional supplements as part of the detox programme you will be consuming a high amount of nutrients designed to support your body’s organs and systems.

I’ve never done a detox before and I have no idea of what to expect

Do I need to prepare for a juice fast?

Yes. You’ll be emailed with details of our Pre-detox dietary advice a few weeks before the retreat begins. We recommend that you follow this for a minimum of 7 days, but if you can do it for 2 to 3 weeks you will reap even more benefits. The pre-detox guidelines helps you prepare your body for the full detox and helps you to get the most health benefits from your cleanse. Following the Pre-Cleanse guidelines will also ensure you experience fewer detox symptoms.
